Its a free climbing project, I wont mention any names for respect of his privacy. But I am sure you can guess who it is.

The KTK believes that all climbing is worthy, and any person who heads out on the sharp end deserves respect no matter what the medium or style. In summary, the KTK does not make blanket judgements. Discriminatory practices simply do not happen because many members of the KTK are all around climbers(ice,alpine,sport,gym,traditional). Almost all your stupid theories and bantering are without basis. So quiet down. The Klan is conceding this space to the climbers who feel that this resource is truly useful so they can garnish whatever usefulness they can. Panther, You couldn't be more wrong. As founder(but not member) of the Cascade Trad Clan, I have to stand up for the trad climbers beliefs. They infact believe that no other form of climbing is as worthy as hard, runnout, dangerous trad climbing. They especially hate gym climbing, sport climbing, and bouldering. This is the whole premise of their Clan. If you need a list of the active clan members I would be happy to post one. But Dwayner really hates it when anyone mentions his name. Hey David Parker, Actually I did know that the BLM holds more acerage than any other ageny in the country. It is also some of the most abused, misused, and overgrazed land in the country. So, if user fees are charged and put towards maintinance and rehabilitation of that land than I am all for it. Am I being swayed? No, infact I don't know who to believe. Why should I believe Mr. Forrests letter any more than the US Forrest service. Thats the problem with this counrty, everyone thinks they are right, and the other is lying. I have spent plenty of time cheating the government, skipping out on fees, sneeking in to concerts, etc... I have learned two things, firsts its not worth it cause when you get caught you'll end up owing twice as much. And two, its not fair to the people who do pay the fee. It only drives prices up for everyone else. Its not beating the system, its milking the system. And don't start telling me that cause I don't have kids I don't care about the future. One thing to keep in mind Dwayner. Some companys will void the lifetime warranty if the lable is colored in. For instance, I used to work at The North Face... they would color in the lables of their factory seconds to void the warranty. So, although I agree with your opinion (for once), it might be wise to check with the company first. Namaste, Matt

Scott, Good question, when I first exposed the Clan to the general public I made absolutely no reference to the KKK. I never even used K's at first, someone else started that. I was worried that a connection would be made, but where people take a stupid joke is out of my hands. Infact, I think you are the first to mention the KKK... Still, the CTC or KTK is alive and kicking, and I didn't name them. They are not racist by any means. However, they do discriminate against gym climbers, sport climbers, and boulderers openly. That said, some one told me that they have secret meetings at the bar on Tuesday nights.
