Wishfull thinking. Have you ever been to the northwest in May? You might climb them all, or you might climb nothing. If I was you I would come up with a couple of backup plans on the east side of the mountains. Take a look at some of the stuff on DragonTail Peak, Colchuck Peak, or Mt. Stuart, as weather bail out options. The climbings better on them anyway.

Or just get there late night on Friday and there is no entrance fee.

I would be very interested if you are looking for a partner on the route.

I really dont see any reason to use film with a higher speed that 100 if you are on snow. I have only ever taken Velvia 50 to AK and had no problems. You may want to pick up a roll of velvia 100 for darker light situations.

There are lots of things that will kill you if you inhale them in enough quantity. I am sure they are refering to amonia that is found in most meth labs. Everything else that is found in a meth lab can be found in a combination of your basement, garage and under the kitchen sink. I wont list them out because that might encourage someone.

Meth labs rarely ignite anymore since most meth cooks stoped using ether years ago. Meth labs are not nearly as dangerous as the media and cops would have you believe.

Learning to ride a bike without training wheels... Dad - Ok I am going to hold on to the bike to hold you up and you pedel. Me - (not wearing helmet) OK I start to pedel while dad pushes... Me - Dad are you still holding on? Dad (from quite a distance away) - No I let go a while ago. I then panic and crash in to the pavement. Repeat several times, and I learned to ride a bike. I still dont wear a helmet. How the fuck do kids learn to ride bikes now when their over protective parents are too scared to let them out of the house.

Acctually there is such a small amount of mercury in monitors and tvs, unless they are dumping dozens then again there is likely no real problem. Oh and as you know mercury is very unlikley to migrate from the site either.

However, The sheer quantity of lead that is lying around there is way more of a toxicity problem than much of the shit they are shooting at. Either way as long as no one eats the soil there is very little human risk. And as long as they are not shooting into any bodies of water then it is very unlikley there will be any other risk.

They should make two areas that face each other separated by a narrow band of brush. Then maybe they would thin out the gene pool a bit.

It does not sound like it is broken to me. I broke mine a couple of years ago, and it healed in a month or so. If the pain is lingering around then it is likely not a break.

Last night the guy I had in doing drywall work tells me that earlier that day he went to the dentist to have some sort of tooth issue resolved and the dentist sent him home because his blood pressue was too low. I did not think too much of it and went back to playing video games. An hour later he tells me that he has been on some sort of perscription drug to lower his cholesterol for the last 4 years. Again I did not think too much of it. About another hour later I go up to see how he is doing, and he is drenched in sweat, and telling me he is going to stop for the night because he is not feeling too good. Then he left. What are the chances he made it home after leaving my house?

So I am heading to vail for a long weekend, and have no interest in skiing. Is there any ice nearby? Is there a CO climbers web page that is usefull? What can I climb, or where can I get info on climbing.

Anyone got any first hand knowlege of the avalanche conditions in the tooth bowl or the imediatly surrounding area? I am thinking of heading in there this weekend assuming there is no more massive dumps of snow.
