Sucks, sucks, sucks. Fortunately I was down from the summit before it started. Unfortunately I didnt climb the intended buttress but some 3rd class ramp with cougars and bushes instead. Kain Face is "standard" SE route has way more objective hazards like seracs falling on your head. There are probably 10x more summitters via Kain route than SE side. But the hike in to the Kain Face is longer.

TG to solo is fun but unless you are Dean or Peter theres a hella lot of stuff out there that is doable but not soloable. So i recommend being mellow and climbing with partners even if they arent as cool as you. Not all climbers are good partners but there are quite a few climbers i would climb with in preference to a weekend of soloing especially friends that I haven't seen for a while.
