  1. herd instinct = being in the same place to try and climb the same routes as everyone else in the pack. looking the same. dressing the same. one alpha male(breeding) and many beta males (non-breeding). forming a large circle when predators appear, with the weakest on the outside. marking territories and boundaries with markings such as scent or excrement. feeding on the young as the population passes a certain level. the vultures circle. taco bell

try getting spicy hot food up here in bc. seems like they think their hot wings are "hot" just because they're cooked and have some kind of red sauce on them. and there really is fairly good mexican food in the seattle area. (definitely better than anything i could find in the southwest corner of colorado! ) that little taco trailer on the way to/from index f'ing rocks! hey tlg why are you looking for hot mexi food in squamish/whistler you are only going to find it in east-van. yuppies cannot stomach heat. it makes their suv riding queasy as their flaming rings are mashed into the leather seats. if you want hot food in BC think szechuan or curry.
  12. Noddderated again!
  13. There were several ascents of Temple NF routes this "winter" ( some ascents occurred after March 21). Slawinski and Firth climbed the Greenwood/Locke, Slawinski and Babanov climbed Sphinx Face, and Semple and Owens(?) did a 1-day ascent of one of those two routes shortly after.

  19. the pinky rest would have been introduced long ago but for the resistance from the "it makes the shaft harder to plunge" crowd. pinky rests make holding on easier whether you have a leash or not.

  22. well if this is more like a normal July why not get out and enjoy some July like activities such as ROCK CLIMBING instead of pretending it is a normal may and trying to ski, huh?
  23. I think you have misintepreted what I wrote. I am not defending their acts. I am simply stating that I think they were blown out of proportion to the actual damage they caused those individuals. My original proposition was that they were being punished for RAPING another inmate in a systematic manner. For that one individual it was probably more torturous than the punishment the perpetrators had to endure. from this report it sounds like the abuse went beyond "punishing" one group of inmates for alleged abuse. and even if true does this mean by the same logic the abusing MPs should themselves be raped and so on? where do you end it?
  24. murray doesnt have the superguide in yet and the trotter is closed out. thanks for trying to be helpful though.
