klenke Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 Okay, who's going to verify that the summit in question in this photo http://supertopo.com/rockclimbing/proslideshow.html?gid=11&n=12 is Gunsight Peak? Inquiring minds are curious. Quote
Lambone Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 Tim, Souldn't that first pick read: Matt Heller? Klenke, Mark showed me those photos on his lap top once at VW, if I remember right, it was Dorado Needle. But I could be wrong. Quote
JoshK Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 It kind of looks like the cathedral rock area in the picture of the crazy dude jumping off into the snow Quote
CascadeClimber Posted January 11, 2003 Posted January 11, 2003 Looks like Guye Peak from Cave Ridge to me. Quote
klenke Posted January 12, 2003 Posted January 12, 2003 Cascadeclimber is correct. I was just on Guye yesterday and the photo with Dr. Death jumping is from someplace on Cave Ridge. In the background is the NNW Ridge of Guye. Quote
Matt Posted January 13, 2003 Posted January 13, 2003 The day that picture was taken was so warm and beautiful. A perfect day in the valley. I remember the biting red ants at the belay and listening to the pair across the valley taking big whippers on the NW Butt of Higher Cathedral Spire. Let's do it again Tim. Let's do it again and again and again. Quote
