iain Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 A ways up the hogsback, dropped off the east side. skinning conditions are excellent and you can get way up there before taking the skis off. If this high-pressure system sticks around for some good freeze-thaw climbing conditions will be excellent on all the good routes over the next few days. I expect some trip reports from you guys. Skiing will most certainly suck though. Enjoy. Quote

Its only virtue is that it is close to town and the roads are good. I expect that under rare circumstances the snow could be good there, but then it would be crowded, would it? Quote
