AlpineK Posted June 22, 2002 Posted June 22, 2002 Well this is a site for climbers...it ain't cascadescramblers.com. Quote
allthumbs Posted June 22, 2002 Posted June 22, 2002 You'd best try the Mounties. They'll tear you up around here if you're not a climber. I'm not a climber and all they do is diss me and take cheap shots. They're harsh. [ 06-21-2002, 09:46 PM: Message edited by: trask ] Quote

Cpt.Caveman Posted June 22, 2002 Posted June 22, 2002 Personally I hate scrambling. It is often wet and or dirty, or bushy, or chossy rock. Oh well I am a wimp. I have to say that I scramble often. It's not the type of routes I always seek out unless I am solo. Quote
texplorer Posted June 22, 2002 Posted June 22, 2002 There are lots of scramblers out there karen. Personally I don't like the Jeeps that much though, I would prefer a big desiel rig with a nice camper on the back. Quote
Guest Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 all hard- cores? read tr from yosemite. there we find out that 10c (first climbed in 1971) is a relentless crack. then we find out about half a pitch whipper on a 10a (backwards!!!so most likely he has a pretty good rope burn on his leg ). that climb was done in 1964. then we find out about a "crank" on a v2 slab problem (did this problem in '88 and it was well climbed then). fucking hard- core- NOT. more like hard core head up the ass syndrome. enjoy the stink. texplorer Posted June 23, 2002 Posted June 23, 2002 You can also find a plethora of posting from wankers thoughout the site. A prime specimen can be found in the Yosemite Daze thread. We'll just call him Bob. He trys to derate all other posters until the moderator shuts him down. His posts are classic of the lack of intellect which the "crackbaby sprayer" exhibits. These once endangered posters have made a comeback recently. Cheerio CC.comers Quote
