DPS Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Hello, I started a blog so that I could learn the blogging software in order to help my wife with the blog she started. In doing so I ended up with a blog of mostly old stories and photos and some cheesy gear reviews. Take a look if you have some time to kill. I'd love to hear feedback on the design and writing. http://themountain-life.blogspot.com/ Thanks, Dan Quote
Chad_A Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Great read on the Stuart epic. Thanks for posting! Quote
OlympicMtnBoy Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Yeah, sounds exciting, nice blog! Quote
pup_on_the_mountain Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I really like your writing style Dan - crisp, clean, and concise, but still has all the punches! Keep the articles coming . Quote
Xerinae Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Good stuff in there for sure, love the Rainier tips! Not sure I'll ever be able to go that light though :-/ Quote
DPS Posted May 1, 2011 Author Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) Thanks Wayne! Hopefully I credited the photographers correctly. Although, if you read carefully I spelled Jesse's name differently each time. By mistake. Edited May 1, 2011 by DPS Quote
DPS Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 It's saying blog not found for me. I stopped blogging, etc. as I went blind for a number of months. After a couple of surgeries I can see again, although not well, even with special glasses. Not sure if I can recover the blog or if it is 'gone'. Quote
Chad_A Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Hey, Dan, One of my old climbing partners saw this post and emailed me- sorry to hear about the rough times, but glad to hear some of your vision has returned. I'll PM you my contact info; perhaps some time I could stop by and say hi. I occasionally make the trip down to the Duthie Hill bike park and could easily take a detour toward you. Hope things continue to improve. All the best, Chad Quote
