Oh man, we were pretty close to them over at the left end of the country...when I heard the bang of the shoot opening and saw some glimpses of the grey shoot falling I was pretty sure something big was falling down out of the quarry.

 

I've never seen them jump from that spot...anyone see where they landed?

 

Edit: they jumped from near the high point of the quarry.

All 3 of them landed on the train tracks between the LTW and the LTW parking lot. We thought the 1st chute pull was a huge rock coming down too.

Happened to us once at Moab, above Potash Rd. We were scoping out a route to climb and *BAM* a chute opens up about 500ft straight above us! I know there is a popular Jeep trail up there, my first thought was that it was a Jeep, rectangular shape of chute. Which way do we run! Scared the crap out of us! Luckily all four landed safely on the road.
