t_rutl Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 (edited) in the live video it seems that it has crash landed somewhere.... fak...yeah it does "The structure at the bottom of the balloon that the boy is in is made of extremely thin plywood and won't withstand any kind of a crash at all," said Erik Nilsson, Larimer County Emergency Manager. marc_leclerc Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 (edited) I hope hes not still in that plywood box Watching the vid I am starting to get the feeling that this is going be be tragic.... Edited October 15, 2009 by marc_leclerc Quote

marc_leclerc Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 "The balloon touched down about 2 miles east of Prospect Reservoir at 1:35 p.m., but the boy was not inside." So in other words... he fell out? Quote
prole Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 He was never in it. Didn't you see 12 Monkeys? Quote
marc_leclerc Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I bet he accidentally let it fly away and is hiding cuz he's scared he'll be in shit with his Dad now... Quote
JosephH Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Well, if he is in it I wouldn't want to be the husband - pretty much ranks up there with leaving the infant seat with the kid in it on top of the car as you drive away... Quote
t_rutl Posted October 15, 2009 Author Posted October 15, 2009 i guess it was a weather balloon...his brothers say they saw him climb in...there was a compartment that was attached to hold the equip for collecting data...that box where the kiddo would have been was not attached to the balloon when it landed...i fear this story could have a very, very sad ending... Quote
billcoe Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Maybe the dad was busy... Whats with all the "fail"? This kid, (alleged ballon boy) should he survive, might grow up to be an astronaut. Hope this turns out OK though. Quote
olyclimber Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 "Falcon's parents, science enthusiasts Richard and Mayumi Heene, were featured on the 100th episode of ABC's prime-time program "Wife Swap" in March, ABC said." Quote
