Pilchuck71
Suck! I have tried the advice in the FAQ's...no luck. I have tried linking to my Flickr account using the same code...no luck. I have imported photos to the CC gallery and tried to link to those using the same code.....nothing... Any help would be greatly appreciated..by both my frustrated self and my girlfriend who is tired of watching me yell at the fancy picture and infernet machine. Thanks in advance for helping out the old and feeble minded.
mattp
Pilchuck, I'm not sure what you have been trying to do. To link a photo you have to use the URL with the actual .jpg file name. Here is one of your recent photo's: I clicked the "photopost" icon, the one with a little picture of a picture, and "pasted" the URL. billcoe
When pasting the URL of your picture in, just make sure that your address ends in .jpg Pilchuck.
dberdinka
Maybe a little more detail helps.... 1)go to your gallery on cc.com and find the photo you want. 2)Right-click on the photo 3)Click on "Properties" in the resulting drop down menu 4)Highlight the Address (holding down right mouse key) then select Copy 5)Paste the address in between the tags with no spaces in your TR. Sort of a headache particularly with multiple photos. I like all the photos of Chickenshit Gulley. Looks fun!
Rad
Another way is to upload your photo(s) in the gallery. Then go to the full response screen (or TR) to see the icons above the entry. Click the camera icon. Your gallery will pop up. Click the photo(s) you want. They are inserted. No copying or pasting of locations this way. Pilchuck71
Thanks gents for the advice. I was able to get it figured out today and posted the SQW trip report. I used Rads method and the only thing I thought was a pain was making sure the layout was correct and not causing a super wide TR. I appreciate the advice and am glad to now be able to share some photos with y'all. Cheers, Tyson Edited September 25, 2009 by Pilchuck71
dberdinka
I always figured there had to be an easier way...... Thanks Rad.

Rad
To avoid the super wide frames put returns before and after pics.
