tvashtarkatena Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Tinnitus: during the past six day Pasayten trip I enjoyed the uninterrupted hum of distant machines. They're coming for us.... Quote
olyclimber Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 it is the machines. they're getting smarter. it won't be long. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 They've learned to cry like lost children.... Quote
Fairweather Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Overuse of your prescription meds. Tell your psychiatrist to reduce your dosage if it won't jeopardize the safety of those around you. Quote
Buckaroo Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I've had that since the age of 12. Caused by amalgam fillings I think and just general weak ears and bad environment. It bothered me at first but after the 1st year put it on ignore and it's been there ever since. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 One study put 100 healthy college students in an anechoic chamber. 95% of them reported hearing various sounds. Quote

thelawgoddess Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I don't hear voices or hums ... but I've had tinnitus for as long as I can remember. I just assume it was from standing in front of huge speakers at heavy metal concerts in high school. Luckily I don't suffer from the typically accompanying hearing loss. Haven't been checked for brain tumors, though! Quote
Buckaroo Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taos_Hum No this noise was before we moved to Taos and never heard anything the 5 years we lived there. No this is a very high pitch whine. Like at the highest pitch audible to humans or at least it seems. and no KK it's not voices... at least nothing intelligible, maybe it's another language, like a whining language Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 (edited) Suffice to say that KKK need not worry about either brain tumors or hearing sounds during periods of silence. Edited September 8, 2009 by tvashtarkatena Quote
