Doug Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 By the end of his first term he'll be senile an will tragically not remember this campaign "promise". Equal opportunity: Should Obama win, many of his campaign "promises" will be broken as well. Argue this one, bitches! Quote

Equal opportunity: Should Obama win, many of his campaign "promises" will be broken as well. Argue this one, bitches! This has already happened. Both candidates made promises in the beginning that they are already renigging on even before they take office. I really dont like the looks of the next 4 years; whichever way it goes. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted July 7, 2008 Author Posted July 7, 2008 McCain recently did a 180 on torture: he no longer supports holding the CIA and private contractors to the Army Field Manual, which prohibits it. So much for the 'principaled' conservative. What a shitbag. Quote

Equal opportunity: Should Obama win, many of his campaign "promises" will be broken as well. Thats what I thought about Clinton who promised he'd do it in 5 years. As he was following an alleged "fiscal conservative" who had been spending us into a shithole, I was dubious. But by God I was wrong and he did it! Big respect. Obama would have a better shot at completing it than McCain based on the Iraq war funding alone, but it's nice to see it get on the political radar now, it should have been there all along. Quote
