Blake Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 What state? Climbing Area? Canyon/mountain? ...Route? Quote
Tony_Bentley Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 I was gonna say the Alaska Range but that snag looks awefully familiar. Hmmm.... Quote
Dannible Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 The rock looks a little red (and fun) for Erie. I'm guessing it's not in this state. Quote
genepires Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 given Blake's time spent in wash pass doing obscure lines, I would say it was out that way. But the twin sister answer sounds really good too. Quote
denalidave Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Must be the uber classic line at beacon rock that links up the ozone traverse? Quote
Rad Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Looks like that buttress line right of the Berdinka's Bellingham Big Wall in the Twin Sisters/Green River area. Pretty spot. I'd bet donuts on it if I were a cop. Quote
Off_White Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 Yeah, I gotta go with pitch 4 on the Evil Twin Arete. Quote
Dannible Posted April 13, 2008 Posted April 13, 2008 You might be right, the pictures match up pretty well. I was thinking that that area would be a bit easier to get into with snow covering the brush, but also thought the river crossing would be rough right now. If it's true tell us about it, Blake. Quote
Blake Posted April 14, 2008 Author Posted April 14, 2008 yeah, it's the east side of the twin sisters. That pic popped up on my screeen-saver and i couldn't figure out where it was at first cause it just looks like such a dry desert. That little valley is rad, such a North Cascades anomaly. Plus, the bouldering scene is so hot there right now! Quote
G-spotter Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 The bouldering is pretty good all around the Twin Sisters. Surprised there are not more Pad People in there. Quote
