Kat_Roslyn Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 I think that this study is probably true in a lot of cases, but this is because young girls change their ideals from learning. They start to have maternal thoughts of children and emotional attachment to partners. Therefore they neglect high learning for their natural development of nurturing. In general though I think women are equal to men, but in different roles. Darrell Beck, Jacksonville, Florida Quote
i_like_sun Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Hahaha. And we scotsmen are even more cleaver than the rest of the UK! Shit, we invented modern medicine, tar-mechadim and television! Actually, I think that study only shows one measure of "cleaverness". Women are far better than men at intuition and emotional intelligence, to name a couple. Quote

archenemy Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Tests like these are not sexist. Of course, if they used the word "shrewd" rather than the word "clever", then everyone would be talking about how much better women score on the IQ test then men did. Quote
ivan Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 "math is haaaaard" - Barbie (good book by the way) good god, how on earth can you feel that way? the only thing that kept me aroudn for the last 800 pages was the feverish desire to see every single character suffer a most excruciating death shortly before the author too was whipped to death by a crowd of mutant jazz-dancers - grudge reading, yeah!
