Me, every day 1 1/2 miles each way.

I average about 100 miles/week. I work at home, so it's not like I'm saving any commuting mileage, but I do most of my errands by bike and then some extra just for exercise.

 

I love my bike.

I ride every day 30 miles round trip. Every day is bike to work day!

 

There was a similar incident in Portland a few years back to the one in Madison.

 

The weather sure has been nice for riding.

There's a timing chain. I had to replace it last year.

next time, (a hint you may already know) about cam timing chains; they are endless chains only and require complete engine disassembly for replacement. Instead, consider replace the timing chain tension spring. This spring will allow excessive slack which causes noise when it becomes weakened with use.

I've replaced tensioners in the past (2 honda v-fours), but this time the chain was needed.
