Dechristo Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 (Jimi, born here perhaps, was not really a Seattle guy - was he?) He attended Garfield High until the age of 16 when he dropped out. Quincy Jones went to Garfield, too. Quote
sexual_chocolate Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 what i really like about alice all chained up is their really subtle and diverse lyrics. they really explored lots of different and always expanding frontiers lyrically (and sonically!). a real joy to encounter a band so mainlined to the truth. all sarcasm aside, the guy was just a wee bit too in love with suffering as an identity. enough already! kevbone Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 I think Staley and Cantrell complimented each other vocally as well as Lemon and McCartney Quote
