erden Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I have an IOGear GCS612A KVM switch to manage two computers. The toggle between the two computers used to be hitting F12 twice as I remember it, but that does not seem to work. I left the country for a couple months, now I cannot figure out how to get to my second computer!!! Does anyone have a clue for me? Thx. Erden. Quote
spotly Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I don't know up front. Mine has switches to allow this manually in addition the the KB shortcuts. IO Gear should have an on-line manual though and a tech support number - that's where I'd go. If it were an ATC you might have better luck getting an answer here Quote
Stretch75 Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 With the switch I have, I hit scroll lock twice, then the down arrow key. Quote
bstach Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Try downloading the manual from the manufacturer. You should have done this first before posting here. http://www.iogear.com/support/manual/106%20GCS612%20manual.pdf Quote
Kevin_Matlock Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 my toggle is the print screen button. also try cycling the device... ours is always crapping out so we have to 'boot' it somewhat often. good luck finding an answer in this forum, next time post it in the "ice climbing/kvm switch" area. bstach Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Dammit, Stretch, at least make him read the damn manual himself. Now he's gonna post *all* his computer questions to this forum. Quote

Raindawg Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 What the heck you folks talkin' about? Who would go to a climbing web-site to ask technical computer questions and expect to get a sober, informed answer? We're all one big helpful family, eh? Who do I turn to when I've got a problem in life?....fixing the car, making up/making out with my girlfriend, help with the philosophy term-paper....ya...my fellow climber...they know...and they're always there for me, giving great advice like this classic: Go to the run prompt and type reformat C: (Actually, if I recall, its C:format but don't do that.) Moderators....please move this discussion to the Nerd Forum. Quote
bstach Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Nerd is the new cool. I bet the guy in the top pic climbs harder than you. Quote

Mr_Phil Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 That's a Patagucci tie. Organic, metrosexual, and 0.000001% of the profits go to Enviromental organizations, so you can feel good about yourself and we get the tax breaks and free advertising. Quote
