dynamite Posted June 9, 2001 Posted June 9, 2001 Believe me guys, you're not the only ones seeking that elusive climber-chick. Most of my friends can't understand why I like to climb. From this woman's perspective, it would be nice to find another female to climb with. But bruised knees and the thought of having to file the fingernails off, seem to be out of the question to most of my friends. Ah well... guess I'll keep climbing with the guys. Glad you're out there. Quote
freeclimb9 Posted June 9, 2001 Posted June 9, 2001 dynamite babe, my heart sings just to know you're out there. Thanks for being. [This message has been edited by freeclimb9 (edited 06-09-2001).] Quote
dynamite Posted June 10, 2001 Author Posted June 10, 2001 Well I'll never win a beauty contest for these legs, but at least I have a good time getting them beat up. *laugh* Salud y juventud Quote
LhotseDreems Posted June 10, 2001 Posted June 10, 2001 Dynamite, I hear ya!! I can't find any ladies to climb with either, and i'd like to. The boys are great.... but, i think i need a sympethetic soul to share some of the secrets of the trade. Signed, Nail-less, bruised and battered. Quote
rockrat16 Posted June 12, 2001 Posted June 12, 2001 Hey ladies! Let's get together for a beer to meet and plan a climb. I know a lot of women who climb. Let's get something started. Quote
Dru Posted June 12, 2001 Posted June 12, 2001 Yes, ladies, when you get together for your beer you might ask "Erika" to display some proof she is a woman! [There is of course a Tami Knight cartoon about this very subject] Quote
erik Posted June 12, 2001 Posted June 12, 2001 easy drul, i was looking for a new partner for you! i know since your pet chincilla ran away with a hoary marmot that you have been lonely, cpt. caveman sent me a link to your personal ad! it's pretty pathetic, but might attact the right woman/rodent! Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted June 12, 2001 Posted June 12, 2001 Flea dog don't be scarin all the women away! Maybe one day they will want to climb with us Quote
erik Posted June 12, 2001 Posted June 12, 2001 yo lhotse, the spray was directed at our good canadian friend drul! he is not that pickey. and personally i would rather have more women here then men. we are soo obnoxious! and let the single men enjoy the benefits of the cherished females gracing the site. go forth enjoy your beer and climbing and have safe fun! by the way roaches are are considered parahanalia and you can get in trouble. so be careful! [This message has been edited by erik (edited 06-12-2001).] Quote
Dru Posted June 12, 2001 Posted June 12, 2001 i am all for women climbers. as for erik i think your plan to attend the estrogen summit has been detected now. erik maybe you should have included the woman/rodent comparison in a private email now the "girls" are mad at you. as for roaches i guess you will have to make sure to destroy the evidence puff puff. those kong frogs make good roach clips. dynamite Posted June 12, 2001 Author Posted June 12, 2001 Ok my fellow feminitas... I'm up for a beer whenever you are. Anyone for the 74th Street Alehouse? Quote
jennie Posted June 12, 2001 Posted June 12, 2001 I'm down in portlannd , but I'll be heading up north periodically. It would be great to get together with other women and climb/ drink. I am willing to drive up north! Quote
LhotseDreems Posted June 13, 2001 Posted June 13, 2001 Right-on, beer and climbing. Does life get any better? Dynamite, i'm not familiar with that pub. But it doesn't take long, i'm sure. Besides poor Jennie are most of us located in the Seattle area? I am. Anyone up for a crag session next mon/tues? .. one day or both? Quote
LhotseDreems Posted June 13, 2001 Posted June 13, 2001 Rockrat, I'm up for a beer and chatting about climbing.... with other ladies. Tha'd be great! Hey Erik. "Woman/Rodent"? I guess it's fair to put Men/Roaches in the same catergory then. Learn some manners, go spray in another topic. The first women show up and you immediately try to get rid of them? What's up with that... i think the single men of this board wouldn't appreciate that. Tsk-Tsk. Quote
