Hood In Winter

I was up there Saturday. We went up the Palmer in the whiteout a couple of times, and then gave a buddy his first skiing lesson in the whiteout. The snow woulda been nice if I coulda seen the terrain at all...

I'd like to ski Leuthold's Couloir, the Wy'East route, the Old Crater variation left of the pearly gates, the sunshine route, and Cooper Spur. The weather did not cooperate with my ambitions Saturday. I'll be back.

Have any of you guys seen Leuthold's lately? If so what condition was it in? I'm thinking Illumination might be a little melted out and Leuthold's wouldn't be a bad alternative.

hey jarred, let me know/post a tr if you do leuts this weekend...i'd like to give it a go right before t-giving w/ some right coast friends and i was interested in knowing what sorta shape the couloir would be in (they get bitchy when shit ain't perfect, see? and its dangerous when i have a tool in my hand to have to hear it)
