Fusion Picks on Viper

So, do the Fusion picks fit on the Vipers?

I got the memo, and it says that all BD picks fit on all BD tools (except the venom, but that's not a tool!)

No reason to spring for the fusion picks unless you want to climb hard mixed routes. Anything else will be better on ice.

yeah if for alpine the titan picks or alaska are nice.. but lasers are great picks

Fusions and Lasers are more or less the same pick. The major difference is the serrated head on the top of the head for stein pulls and the like. The Fusion is a B-rated pick, verses the laser's T-rating. The fusion is slightly thicker, but honestly will work fine on ice in a pinch.

Wouldn't a Mixed pick (fusion) be thicker and T-rated compared to a pure ice pick?

Correction, they're both B-certified. The other major difference is the huge downward hook at the end of the pick, which I'd imagine would make it act quite differently.

No, the Laser is B-rated and the Fusion is T-rated. The Fusion is thicker for the mixed stuff.
