no problem. it only took me a second to pull off the TPS report cover. :)

 

another nice thing about BD's constant head design is that you can put viper components on the reactors or (I'm pretty sure) fusions. voila, leashless hammers.

Fusions and Lasers are more or less the same pick. The major difference is the serrated head on the top of the head for stein pulls and the like. The Fusion is a B-rated pick, verses the laser's T-rating. The fusion is slightly thicker, but honestly will work fine on ice in a pinch.

Wouldn't a Mixed pick (fusion) be thicker and T-rated compared to a pure ice pick?

Correction, they're both B-certified. The other major difference is the huge downward hook at the end of the pick, which I'd imagine would make it act quite differently.
