G-spotter
Do you climb harder when you are drunk? Is it worth becoming an alcoholic?
still_climbin
Although "darts, debauchery, and drink" are all wonderful, I prefer dedauchery on climbing days.
Fuggedaboudit
I have done many approach days by starting out with a serious hangover. I tell myself that since I'll never see the Himalaya that this is what the altitude would feel like.
Couloir
I love to drink at a nice bivy high up somewhere. Alcohol has a wonderful effect the higher you go!
chesterboo
I almost always bring a small flask of single malt to have after the aproach day. that nice warm buzz is great before I eat my freezed dried whatever.
sobo
On summit slogs, I usually bring along ~400 cc (half a bottle) of red wine for dinner with my boil-up noodles. I always bring along a nalgene flask of Rumpleminz schapps for my hot chocolate... for weekend cragging, the sky's the limit. This weekend I expect I'll go through two bottles of Cab Sauv and a half rack of Fat Tires or Black Butte Porters.

olyclimber
Do you climb harder when you are drunk? Is it worth becoming an alcoholic? Different brank of humor over there...this wouldn't make the press in the frigid US: PS. There was a good side to this, a very pretty, very young (female) doctor said to me, “I’m really sorry, but I’m going to have to put my finger up your back passage” “That’s Ok” “I’m not hurting you am I” “Are you kidding, that’s the nearest I’ve got to penetrative sex for years” She smiled!
