Johnny_Tuff Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12225188/ Write your representative today and say "NO" to more idiotic bloodlust! This'll make Iraq look like a playground shoving match. Quote
ZimZam Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I guess they want the approval rating to slide to 11%. Quote
TREETOAD Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 It would probably be a good idea to surrender in Iraq first. Quote
ashw_justin Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 but we're already right there, or something Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 What's the problem? Based on how well we're doing in Iraq, Iran will be a cake walk. With a new war the militay will have no problem meeting it's recruting goals. Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I guess they want the approval rating to slide to 11%. War is the option that leaders in trouble at home do to shift attention away from thier fuck ups. Think Argentina and the Falklands, the last gasp of the military dictatorship. Quote
catbirdseat Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 I just watched the movie about Edward R. Murrow, Good Night and Good Luck. The parallels between then and now are striking. Bush needs to be taken down just as Joe McCarthy was taken down. He was censured by Congress. But that is unlikely to happen until the Republicans lose their majority. We can only hope for this to happen in the next election. Quote
larrythellama Posted April 9, 2006 Posted April 9, 2006 so dont go voting independent ans throwing your vote away. sad that we are stuck with a two party system. Quote
fear_and_greed Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 You guys down there need "a regime change" before the worlds #1 terrorist strikes again. A simultaneous attack on N. Korea sounds like a great idea too, GW. Actually why stop there, just nuke the whole world. Quote
mountainmatt Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 With all the troops in Iraq, we will need to bring back the draft! Quote
roboboy Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 just nuke the whole world The Bush doctrine is now termed "coercive diplomacy". Don't give them any more ideas... Quote
marylou Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 coercive diplomacy Just another fancy term for "we're bullies" not unlike the old "gunboat diplomacy." Quote
G-spotter Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 It's just good cop bad cop. Europe plays nice and USA talks tough. Quote
willstrickland Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 GM and Ford better get on the ball and design some engines to run on radioactive oil. Quote
G-spotter Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 A dog won't bite if you beat it with a bone. Quote
Crux Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 It's just good cop bad cop. Europe plays nice and USA talks tough. Right...just talking tough. Else, Bush is a psychopath. Oh, wait, he's not just talking! Quote
