lancegranite
March has proven to be cold and wet here in the great basin, causing the unprepared to search for suitable clothing long forgotten. I had to wear a jacket to my car today, I considered taking the day off. Would you be so kind to take your rain, sleet, snice, fog, wind and assorted nastiness back to the PNW? Thanks. Johnny_Tuff
Just increase the nailing, throw in a few more holdowns, and tell the architect to stick it if he wants any more windows or any shallower beams. Then get the fuck out of the office and send proud!
robert
You sound like an engineer we used on a project a few years back. Haven't hired him again. What do you mean we need to have some wall area on that side? You are the engineer. Engineer me a moment frame and have it done by Monday. No send for you!!! choss_headwall
While you are frying your brain in 100+ degree weather, we'll be sending in the cool alpine air, far from the maddening throngs. Have fun climbing at Charleston, I am sure drilled and chipped holds in 90 degree weather is just as good.
lancegranite
Hmmmm...I might be closer than you think. It's only 4 hours to the serrias, 20 from the cascades, 20 hours from the rockies. Charleston? it's good in a pinch, but Index is better, see you there.
