Cpt.Caveman Posted January 23, 2002 Posted January 23, 2002 A pleasant 10 mile hike\ski can bring you to ice I suppose when it is cold enough... Quote

philfort Posted January 23, 2002 Posted January 23, 2002 It's not my picture, it's scot'teryx's from his Enchantment TR. I just saw it and pondered that ice conditions were better back in october than they are now. Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted January 23, 2002 Posted January 23, 2002 If you are willing to hike or ski during cold conditions for 10 Miles when it is really cold I bet you can climb the fall below Prusik....above and left of Trauma Rib. Quote

AlpineK Posted January 24, 2002 Posted January 24, 2002 last weekend there was ice on the cliffs above CMC. Nothing huge, but you could climb something there. Quote
scot'teryx Posted January 24, 2002 Author Posted January 24, 2002 If there are any of you that are experts on this area please check it out and let me know if I got some of those lakes labeled correctly. It was my first time up there and we had to go fast and quick to make the traverse. Didn't even get to summit Little Annapurna which bummed me out, but it was one of the most beautiful non glacier hikes I have ever done. Thanks! Enchantment Lakes Traverse Quote
