Stonehead Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 This thread's a bit early. National Pie Day is January 23. The American Pie Council (!) suggests a dozen ways to celebrate. And remember, it's damn right Un-American to not like pie. Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 And National Pi Day is March 14. And Yellow Pig Day is July 17. Quote
Distel32 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 QUICHE. You mean freedom pie? if you had written that like 4 years ago, we could of had a chuckle, but now I just want to punch you in the face. Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 if you had written that like 4 years ago, we could of had a chuckle, but now I just want to punch you in the face. That's so sweet have you to of such feelings toward me. Quote

Chuck_Norris Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Gary, since you were the president of the Official Walker, Texas Ranger Fan Club, I hesitate to give you a round house kick to the head for responding to a threat in such a sensitive manner. But consider yourself warned. Quote
Double_E Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 "taste so good, make a grown man cry... sweet cherry pie!" Quote

Dru Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Since this song is like 9 minutes long, radio DJs used to play it when they needed to take a whiz and consequently excuse themselves from the on air booth for a significant time. Quote
archenemy Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 for 9 minutes? Jeez, they need a pee bottle in the booth. Quote

marylou Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I don' think they needed 9 plus minutes to take a leak. Unless the bathroom was in Idaho, the three minute pop song should suffice. I'm pretty sure I wrote the great american novel in something like 6 minutes, between cues, while working backstage at some musical or whatever. Quote
luwayo Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 fresh bing cherry pie chicken stilton pie in a 500-yo English pub gary, what is this stilton ingredient? cheese? if so, that's an unusual combo. although i'm reviled for some daring cheese combos. Quote
knotzen Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I'm pretty sure I wrote the great american novel in something like 6 minutes, between cues, while working backstage at some musical or whatever. I thought that was Jack Kerouack? Quote
