Paco
I was up there around a week and a half ago. At that time there was about 4-6 inches of snow on the ground and only a light dusting on the rock peaks. There was minimimal snow in the east face couloir of Cutthroat and no ice higher up. There were some frozed road cut drips along the north facing road cuts near the pass.
philfort
I was at Rainy Pass last weekend, and there was just under 2 feet of snow at highway level, and about 3 feet @6000ft. We had good views of the Liberty Bell group in the afternoon. The west sides didn't look too snowed up from several miles away, but all the approach gullies were snow-filled. Â The north-facing rock where we were was in "winter condition". Didn't see any ice anywhere. Â Tuesday's rain has probably melted off a good amount of snow. Billygoat
Is highway 20 open?
Uncle_Tricky
Yeah, the highway is open. It's been warm this week, and what little snow there was has mostly melted. There's only patchy snow up there, from none to a few inches.
Ned_Flanders
Hi, Â Has anybody been up to any of the washington pass mountains lately, mainly cuthroat or the liberty bell group. I was just wondering how much snow is on the rocks up there. thanks

layton
Went on a drive today, Colonial isn't quite ready yet. If it had more snow, then I'd be up there right now, but there are too many sections devoid of snow, especially getting up the avy gullies. There's a big patch of blue that's not touching just right of the face.
