David Trippett Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Seeing that we all spend tons of money on gym memberships and gas driving all over hells-half-acre to find someplace dry to climb this time of year....lets pool our cash and put a retractable roof over a crag. I vote for Squamish. What climbing area would you like to see a retractable roof over? Later, when the roof is no longer "fashionable" we could blow it up. Quote
olyclimber Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 Blow up the crag, or blow up the roof? And if it has a roof, then it should be heated, and include cheerleaders and a DJ on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturday nights. Quote
David Trippett Posted November 10, 2005 Author Posted November 10, 2005 We can't blow up the crag(that would be crazy!), just the roof, and build a new, better one, with lots of gizmos and WiFi, instead of getting books and such for our schools.... But the cheerleaders and DJ is a fantastic idea....are the climbers allowed to "date" the cheerleaders? In the NFL they can't. We should be able to "date" those cheerleaders. Quote
underworld Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 i hear there are a few NFL cheerleaders that need a job! Quote
underworld Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 btw - the cheerleaders should also have a retractable top... Quote
LUCKY Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 A roof over spire rock or OffWhite's crag would be way cool than I would have a place to climb in the rain oh how I yurn for sping, climbing and getting off this 6/10 shift but yo this is the best view of any job I have had. Tequlia/time is limited Quote
Dru Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 You are 15 years too late, there used to be a roof built over the chip-it on Kakodemon. Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 But the cheerleaders and DJ is a fantastic idea....are the climbers allowed to "date" the cheerleaders? In the NFL they can't. And apparently the cheerleaders aren't allowed to date each other. Quote
EWolfe Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 ...it is only allowed if escorted by a representative of the climbing community. Quote
