Lix Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 in the Stuart range in the past weeks? I know a few inches fell where I was working in the Sawtooths, but could use some local info on snow amounts and elevations. Quote
JoshK Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Whatever . . you're just jealous you don't have the right to put a bumper sticker on your rig that says "I Love Mormon Pussy" Â Â I want one that says "I love slutty Mormon girls" Quote
John Frieh Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Good question Lix... anybody been in there recently? Snow? Pics? Quote
gyselinck Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Haven't been in the area, but heard a recent report that it snowed 3 in. at Prusik Pass. Wonder if it stayed or melted out. Quote
Lix Posted September 16, 2005 Author Posted September 16, 2005 Finally mustered enough motivation to call the L-Worth ranger station. The snow from last week didn't stick around for the most part, shady north faces probably exlcuded though, and it had started snowing again "up there" (however high that is I couldn't get them to say) this morning. Â Any better resources out there? Quote
kurthicks Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 snow at ~8000' on Dragontail and Colchuck. No snow at the lakes. (Backbone and Serpentine were snowy and rainy on Saturday). Â edit: Colchuck NE Buttress and Stuart NR still looked snowfree. Quote
John Frieh Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Bump  Any new snow? Anybody been in to ingalls lake to have a look? Any beta would be great. Quote
kurthicks Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 (edited) Saturday was almost entirely snow free on DT except for some in shaded patches on the NF. Getting cold though, the creek coming from the Colchuck glacier moraine was frozen with 3" of WI in spots. check my tr in alpine lakes for pics. SilverGoat Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 (edited) Went up Stuart last weekend. There's now about 6" on the top, making for sketchy conditions. See attachment for a pic. Edited October 10, 2005 by SilverGoat Quote
John Frieh Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Which route? Any other photos? Thanks for the info! Quote
Greta Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Looked about the same yesterday, with a recent light dusting. Quote
SilverGoat Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I just went the Cascadian Couloir route since I was solo. Wanted to scope it out for a team effort on one of the other routes at a later date. Was beautiful on Sunday. I think I was the only climber on the south side. Didn't see any signs of other climbers from the North either. The masses were all over in the Esmerelda side, though.
