l0930 Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 I have time off until May 17 and am looking for climbing partners (alpine prefered). I will climb with just about anyone, but single guys should note: Yes I am a girl and no I don't want to date you unless you climb 5.12, WI 5+, boat class V, do backflips on a wakeboard, drop 40 foot cliffs on skis, and understand general relativity. l0930 Posted May 4, 2005 Author Posted May 4, 2005 At least a couple of them and the intelligence aspect is a must Quote
Dustin_B Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 I guess you are going to end up with just a climbing partner then as that pretty much weeds everybody here out for dating material. Just don't request that a suitor be rich too or you'll be single for life! Quote
glassgowkiss Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 At least a couple of them and the intelligence aspect is a must being polish and out of shape eliminates me out of the pool Quote
Nelly Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 I have a pretty firm grasp of General Relativity, particle physics and string theory and I'm better than average on skis. However I hate boats and water sports, can't climb WI5+ or 5.12. Ahem, oh well, another potential climbing partner down the drain........ Quote
thelawgoddess Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 she didn't say she wouldn't climb with you; just that she wouldn't date you. Quote
Nelly Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Oh, just assumed she wanted climb with and date someone of equal intellegence, climbing and skiing ability.......I guess she never did say what level of climbing she actually does. Quote
Billygoat Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 She just wants to climb some Alpine. WITBD?!  I'm married (happily), so I qualify w/o even considering the other stuff....  Unfortunately, Portland is a bit far and I am too busy  I will be heading to Colorado in July tho.  Quote
layton Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 I had no idea Laura was so discriminating. she climbed with me a few weeks ago BEGGING me to go out with her, but alas, she doesn't understand complex biomechanics and reading Michio Kaku in a circle after an S&M party doesn't cut the mustard in my laws of physics. layton Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 give me $100 and I can do a police sketch artist representation of her as I forgot my camera. Quote
l0930 Posted May 5, 2005 Author Posted May 5, 2005 Mike- Fetishes do not always entail S&M, cocaine is a hell of a drug, and superlatives are overrated Quote
archenemy Posted May 5, 2005 Posted May 5, 2005 Fetishes do not always entail S&M You're right of course. But who wants to hear about the other ones anyway? Quote
