Squid Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Medicare will cover Viagra, but RU-486 is blocked from over-the-counter access and the FDA lifts the ban on silicone breast implants. Tell me with a straight face you don't see a pattern here. Quote
foraker Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Well, we *do* need more soldiers and FBI guys..... Quote
Squid Posted April 15, 2005 Author Posted April 15, 2005 I'm anticipating that shoes will only be available to women by prescription. Quote
cj001f Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I will respond with a joke (told to me by an ex-gf) What does it mean when a woman comes running from the kitchen? Her chains to long. Quote
Dechristo Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Medicare will cover Viagra,... A pill to prepare a sexual organ for coitus with possibly serious side effects for the user. In the majority, used by those that are no longer interested in conception, but in the act alone. Because of the possibly serious side effects, I don't use this medication - I splint with a golf pencil (Tiger Woody brand); gives me twice the girth and length. RU-486 is blocked from over-the-counter access... There has been a pill available for decades that prepares, contraceptively, a female user for sexual intercourse; this pill, also, has possibly serious side effects. ...and the FDA lifts the ban on silicone breast implants. It is recommended to all that seek breast inhancement to research possible side effects of implanted foreign objects. Or do you infer domesticated women need protection by the intellectually superior? Must all government edicts be science-based solely in impetus? Quote
olyclimber Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 I prefer the wild ones to the domesticated ones. Sure, they're a little gamey, but but the flavor is better. Plus, I have ethical concerns about the pen raised version. Quote
minx Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Well, we *do* need more soldiers and FBI guys..... I didn't know that FBI guys needed breast implants. is that for undercover work? Quote
catbirdseat Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Medicare will cover Viagra, but RU-486 is blocked from over-the-counter access and the FDA lifts the ban on silicone breast implants. Tell me with a straight face you don't see a pattern here. Squid, at least get your story straight. We are not talking about RU-486. That is not the "morning after" pill they are talking about. The morning after pill is ordinary hormones in a high dose. I seriously doubt RU-486 ever will be available over the counter or SHOULD it. The morning after pill can and should be made available because it does not require close medical supervision to work. Quote
olyclimber Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Sssshhheeeessshhhh Squid. Do your homework! Quote
Fairweather Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Very dissapointing, Squid. RU-486 is commonly and appropriately called "the abortion pill". It brings about the termination of an existing pregnancy. The "morning after pill" is used w/in 48(72?) hours of unprotected sex to prevent egg implantation. I become irked when I hear my fellow conservatives speak out against the morning after pill, especially since it likely reduces the abortion rate. Quote
slothrop Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Every sperm is sacred, Fairweather. Less access to contraception == more unwanted children == more emotionally scarred, impressionable waifs yearning for the love of Jesus == more Republican voters. Get with the program. Quote
Fairweather Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Sorry, Sloth. The morning after pill doesn't do a thing for the recipient of unprotected anal sex. But I still support your right to get it without a prescription. Quote
slothrop Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 You don't have to repeat last night's conversation for everyone to read, Mr. Bareback USA 1987. Quote
Dru Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Sorry, Sloth. The morning after pill doesn't do a thing for the recipient of unprotected anal sex. But I still support your right to get it without a prescription. who is signing these prescriptions for unprotected anal sex? is that what the pharmacists do for fun after refusing to prescribe contraceptives for religious reasons? Quote
Fairweather Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 (edited) Don't worry, Dru. That recent swelling in your belly is probably just your liver finally paying you back for all the abuse you've dished it over the years. It's more likely you just need a transplant and not an abortion. Edited April 16, 2005 by Fairweather Quote
Dechristo Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 You guys crack me up. Oh wait, you covetous analytes may take that the wrong way. Pernicious Peevish Pervs. Quote
