Dave_Schuldt Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Friday night - chilled to recover from a hectic work week. Saturday - worked on MTB test track at Magnisom Park Sunday - Capitol Forest MTB mud fest. 32 miles with 5,000' of climbing. Took us 7 hours, almost got out the headlamp for the last few miles. Fenders are a good idea if you don't want a cold ass. Me Quote
foolscongress Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 went ice climbing in the catskills. ice was formed up well, but a couple of warm days knocked some pillars down. my back and hands are sore, so it must have been a good trip. Quote
Jim Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Hike off the Yakima canyon and saw bighorns, mulies, bald and golden eagles, Cooper's hawk, horned larks, sage sparrows (early!), and one porcupine sleeping 30 ft up a cottonwood. Took our own nap atop one of the ridges in the sun. Yaked it up at the Rosyln Brewery with the locals. Sunday pulled plastic, 25 mi ride, and woodworking. Whew! Quote

Cobra_Commander Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 I was busy doing a wildlife study by monitoring this forum. I witnessed some fine specimens of nerdius nevergonnagetlaidius in their native environment. The pasty skin, the fritos in the keyboards, the frothing over the patagonia spring line-up. It was spectacular. Quote
