chris Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Are there any good climbing adventures to be done in a day, from Bellingham to the other side of the border? I could also do 1 1/2 day trips, i.e. drive in the night before, alpine start from the car, and go all day. Just looking for ideas, and Beckey's bible doesn't help me with driving times... Thanks! Blake Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Not really what you are looking for, but I am in bellingham too, and I'm lookign for people who actually are motivated to get out and climb some stuff. Seems like this place is full of boulder-loving hippies, not mountain climbers. Anyways, I've got a full rack, PM or email if you need a partner. Quote

snoboy Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Check out Alpine Select from Elaho Publishing. It was based on weekend trips from Vancouver, so if you are willing to get up a bit earlier, then you should have a good idea of what can be done. Quote
