Clivus Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 I want a pair of nylon or EPIC pants with full side zips. I do not need gortex or any fancy laminate. Anyone know of such a thing? Anybody else think that $300 pants are pointless when you need a new pair every year? Quote
DPS Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Marmot makes a full side zip with their Precip fabric. Quote
blue_morph Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 MEC had a cheap full zip pant made of their "like gore-tex" stuff and they were very small and light too. I think I would rip pants made of epic pretty easy. Quote

Illini Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Wildthings makes a wind pant out of EPIC sans full side zip. If you call they might do it for you. Quote

Haven't tried the pants.  he asked for nylon pants with full side zips that don't cost $300. that's what they are. if you pay $49 for a pair of nylon pants, you shouldn't expect $300 schoeller or goretex-quality pants. rhyang Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 $40 at www.campmor.com, search for Thunderlight pants. They are not very breathable, but they are waterproof. Made in Taiwan I think. Quote
