Alpinfox
I heard there was a high probability for preciptiation (of the new route variety) out there on Sunday. Did you notice any sprinkles Mr.E? Ken and I did a lot of non-rock-climbing:
Szyjakowski
so did you climb any of those cracks at cable rock in the icicle...they definitely should be resurrected. rudy you whine like a lame bacon beyo0tch. climb in the rain. find an overhanging boulder problem and work it!! Alpinfox
so did you climb any of those cracks at cable rock in the icicle...they definitely should be resurrected. We checked em out a bit. The one that slants up and left looked like a good potential hand crack, but it doesn't look like it has been climbed in many many many years, if at all. Lots of dirt and moss and a few small trees. Tell me what you know about em.
Szyjakowski
they all have been climbed...from what i have been told. i think viktor mentioned them in his first icicle(blue) guidebook... however that was printed before i climbed so i do not own it. they look very worthy!! ken4ord
They would probably be pretty fun if they were cleaned up, in there current condition though you'd want some Napalm to get rid of all the dried moss. The cliff is lower angle standing at the bottom, than it looks from the road.
Szyjakowski
you need wirebrushes and goggles.
