minx Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 or why the republican party won't have me as a voter. racism is A-OK i cannot believe this guy is for real or that the republican party will allow him to run as a member of the party. Quote
Greg_W Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Hey, he hasn't broken any laws. Don't even take that to the RNC, until you consider that your DNC loves Robert Byrd, former member of the KKK. Quote
Billygoat Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Hey Greg, I love how you support equality and understanding regardless of creed. Quote
Greg_W Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I support anyone's right to think and believe what they want. I didn't say I agree with this guy, nor do I agree with the KKK, NAACP, Black Panthers, WAR, either; they DO have a right to their beliefs and to voice them. Or should we outlaw whoever disagrees with you, Billygoat? Quote
cracked Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Hey, there are racists on the left, too! "House Negro" is OK? WTF? Quote
ashw_justin Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 (edited) This just goes to show, some (or many in this case) people will vote for anyone with an "R" next to their name. Edited August 6, 2004 by ashw_justin Quote
minx Posted August 6, 2004 Author Posted August 6, 2004 i never even insuated that i'd vote for a Dem that supported the KKK or any such nonsense for any race. i just found this particular event to be horrifying. Quote
Billygoat Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Or should we outlaw whoever disagrees with you, Billygoat? Now you're talkin'... Quote
Jim Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Hey, there are racists on the left, too! "House Negro" is OK? WTF? She is just a citizen however and not backed by a political party. Quote
Greg_W Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Or should we outlaw whoever disagrees with you, Billygoat? Now THERE is an Idea... Problem: where to put the wife when SHE disagrees? Quote
Billygoat Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Whoops! She should just go back to her housekeeping. Quote
Greg_W Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Whoops! She should just go back to her housekeeping. Well, it IS what God intended. Quote
dkemp Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Perhaps you'll be less scared of Tennessee when that guy gets crushed by the incumbent Democrat. I'm from Tennessee - Nashville actually - and I'm offended by the insinuation of the title of this thread that people from TN are any certain way. Of course, I'm even more offended by Mr Bertrand's beliefs, but my point is - historical context included - that TN is inhabited by all sorts of people. Its an old story of course, but its ironic to to be prejusticed against a group of people (Tennessee) by suggesting that they are prejusticed. Quote

I'm saying they're stupid: This just goes to show, some (or many in this case) people will vote for anyone with an "R" next to their name. Quote
JoshK Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Greg, I would love to hear how the NAACP is on the same level as the BPs or the KKK. Quote

Greg_W Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Greg, I would love to hear how the NAACP is on the same level as the BPs or the KKK. THey are all groups bent on advancing their own race, excluding other races, and are prejudiced against those different from them. They are all political. Just because the NAACP isn't overtly involved in violent action or protest, doesn't mean they aren't proponents of it. Quote
JoshK Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I dont think the NAACP is an advocate of advancing their own race at the expense of others. I think that is the difference. also, working for equal rights is a far cry from working for racial supremacy Quote

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF COLORED PEOPLE It was so named at a time when 'colored' was the common moniker for blacks. None of the groups I named are working for racial supremacy, just racial separateness. Edited August 6, 2004 by Greg_W Quote
cj001f Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 None of the groups I named are working for racial supremacy, just racial separateness. The KKK doesn't believe in the supremacy of the white race? Where'd you find that gem? Quote
rbw1966 Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 WAR (White Aryan Resistance) doesn't argue for racial superiority? Put the pipe down Greg. You've been sniffing the snuggles too long. Quote
Off_White Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 No CJ, they don't have to work for it, they achieved it by being born. Quote
