Police searching for suspect after shooting in Nanaimo VANCOUVER (CKNW) — Nanaimo RCMP are saying that a shooting in the community on Thursday was likely accidental. A 21-year-old man was shot in the leg as a group of men were gathered drinking and doing drugs at a home. At some point, a handgun went off. The victim has non-life threatening injuries in hospital.
