catbirdseat Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Do any of you know what Irwindale looks like? I used to work there. It's the armpit of the San Gabriel Valley. About the only good thing you can say about it is that it is near West Covina. Quote
Mal_Con Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 The beer alwayss sucked cept for Green Death, they are going to be showing the old ads (the only other thing worth wile from that brewery) next Thursday on the Friends Finale. Quote

assmonkey Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 The new owners of the Rainier label are trying to capitalize on the same sentiment that is currently driving PBR sales. The above post describes the lame-ass fake "wayne's world"-like cable access 30-minute long informercial used to generate interest in Rainier beer. Here's their shitty corporate website: http://www.rememberrainier.com/ The deli at RMI has a killer poster with one of the Whittaker brothers holding a can of Rainier with the mountain in the background of the photo. It's a sweet poster. Quote
assmonkey Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Drink Rogue beer. It's much better for your constitution. Quote
EWolfe Posted April 30, 2004 Author Posted April 30, 2004 Yeah, but is it $13.00 a case? I don't think so. Quote
Stretch75 Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 That commercial with the bike was shot out in Buckley. Now, on that same corner, a HUGE housing develpment has occured and blew the whole nostalgia thing...sad Quote
thelawgoddess Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Ya get what you pay for. . . same goes for ... uh ... never mind. Quote
