Gary_Yngve Posted April 6, 2004 Author Posted April 6, 2004 Where to go for beer? Bigtime is walking distance, and I like their brews.
AlpineK Posted April 6, 2004 Posted April 6, 2004 Fuck the Big Time. I don't know if I'll make the show, but ask yourself this. Do you want to go drinking with a bunch of deadhead, petulie stinking, hippies ? Fuck the Big Time.
scott_harpell Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 Fuck the Big Time. I don't know if I'll make the show, but ask yourself this. Do you want to go drinking with a bunch of deadhead, petulie stinking, hippies ? Fuck the Big Time. well said
thelawgoddess Posted April 11, 2004 Posted April 11, 2004 hmm ... how come every time i go to the big time it's full of phd-seeking science geeks?
Gary_Yngve Posted April 13, 2004 Author Posted April 13, 2004 hmm ... how come every time i go to the big time it's full of phd-seeking science geeks? I resemble that remark.
thelawgoddess Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 what about two-time alumni? do we get a discount? ;-)
icegirl Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 The show rocked! Thanks Gary! Thanks Will! The pictures were an inspiration! to all of you who had "better things to do" YOU SO SUCK!!
klenke Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 to all of you who had "better things to do" YOU SO SUCK!! Mommy mommy!
icegirl Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 yeah, I'm a real meanie klenke, if you don't behave, it's the north bend outlet mall for you!
Szyjakowski Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Gadd was such a funny lad. stellar pics too! and Schultzy's
Gary_Yngve Posted April 16, 2004 Author Posted April 16, 2004 Yeah, I was a bit disappointed with the turnout. (The club lost about $300 on the show.) We advertised the same way we do with other shows and we made it later in the evening than before, so I'm not sure what happened. But Will's show was totally rad. In addition to his pictures, I loved his social commentary.
Squid Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 to all of you who had "better things to do" YOU SO SUCK!! Hey- cut me some slack! Not only do I have to work, I find out I'm b/c of it?! Yer a harsh mistress!
icegirl Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 now they know what I mean by "other end of the leash" Dru, you weren't supposed to tell! Seriously though, with the low turnout? I've been to some other shows (Steve House for example) and it filled up nicely. Where were all the ice climbers?
Squid Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Damn- I haven't seen the whip in awhile. Thanks for bring back the memories, Dru!
cracked Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 I didn't go because my quota of shows is filled up for the year. If there's a show every week, fewer and fewer people will show up, it's less of a treat.
icegirl Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 yeah, but ya could've at least joined us for a beer...
Squid Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Did he boulder through the tables at Schultzie's, heel hooking the formica?
icegirl Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 nah, just bought us a beer, and told good stories...
Squid Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 was it a PC crowd, or UW Climbing Club crowd? (Yngve's both)
klenke Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 yeah, I'm a real meanie klenke, if you don't behave, it's the north bend outlet mall for you! No no, not the north bend outlet mall!!! I promise to behave. I promise. [sob sob, sniffle sniffle]
