Jake Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 Everywhere else seems a bit warmer anyway, so I guess ya just kinda gotta place you bet and take your chances. Quote
rip Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Don't put those planks away just yet, March has been a good producer the last 2 years... http://www.mtbaker.us/info0304/STATS/snowfall.html -rip Quote
thelawgoddess Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 hmm ... is someone erasing my posts? i could swear i already told y'all we had 41cm's of fresh pow this morning!!! and it snowed all day ... and it's STILL snowing. Quote
E-rock Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 GRRRRRRRRRR! Hope you're having a GREAT time. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 we had another 13cm waiting for us this morning. 54cm of pow + new fat skis = today was definitely in my top 5 of the season!!! Quote
snoboy Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 You are so very suck. Wait, how big is your couch? Actually it has been pretty good here the last week. 50+ would be so nice though. I am jealous. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 oh, and did i tell you it is STILL snowing??? (about damned time, we had a couple of weeks with NOTHING new and that was seriously suck ... unless you like bumps! ) sorry; i don't have a couch. (but i got a floor. c'mon down!) Quote
JoshK Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 The thing that sucks about the rockies is that 54cm will be blown off in 3 days when the sun comes out and the wind comes back. No, in all seriously that sounds sweet. Actually got some very good "spring powder" turns yesterday tho that I wouldn't trade for anything. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 wind? what wind? the snow we got and are still getting is actually pretty wet for here. i almost feel like i'm back in the northwest ... spring skiing - yummers! Quote
eternalX Posted March 1, 2004 Author Posted March 1, 2004 Maybe this week? Di some Xc in saturday by baer and it was a slush fest. THe forecast looked horrible on Saturday for this week, but now they've completly revised it. Hopefully we'll get a foot or two midweek. Crossing my fingers. Quote
snoboy Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 oh, and did i tell you it is STILL snowing??? It doesn't pay to be boastful... Ahh well, it's not like the snow is going anywhere, time to break out the skins. That is so suck Quote
thelawgoddess Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 yeah, we had another 23 cm waiting for us this morning and some avy in ophir had to go and knock out our power. guess there is such a thing as too much snow! i went back inside, traded out my skis, skinned up one run, and by then most of the lifts were operating. no worries! Ya take the good with the bad I suppose. Wet is often better cause, just like here, it sticks to everything Quote
