erik Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 b-day chutes are played out everday now erock....all of the bird is a wasteland. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 well, not really impressed with snowbird. i mean, it's fun skiing and all ... but it lacks something. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 i doubt conditions would have been much better there. it's only like 10 feet to the left, eh? too warm = snow chunks. i miss my high altitude dry stuff! hopefully tomorrow will be more inspiring - i'm going to rent some alpine boards so i can ski the chunks better! E-rock Posted February 25, 2004 Author Posted February 25, 2004 That's rich, someone from the San Juans getting snobby about conditions in Utah. Do you also miss your depth hoar, unskiable, wind-scoured steeps, and 30 inch base? Quote
skykilo Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 I alternate between the wiggle and the swerve. I prefer the wiggle, though, because it involves more of those weightless moments for which I live and ski. Bounce, bounce, bounce... it's like sex, but you don't have to get all emotional and committed with the snow. Well, actually, I guess it's more like sex than I thought. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 30 inch base? Â it's not the size that matters. Quote
snoboy Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 30 inch base? Â it's not the size that matters. Â Course it's not, it's how you use it, and that's what this thread is all about... Â Â I demoed some 185 Rossi Mega Bangs today. kinda rocked my world. Quote
thelawgoddess Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 ah, yes ... thank you, snoboy, for the well put quit-your-bitchin message. lookin' forward to making some turns today!!! Quote
