Dru Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 OK: there are some user names out there that are "HisandHers" user names like "BenandJennifer" or whatever. You know who you are. Stupid for two reasons: 1) it's confusing when you post as we don't know which member of the couple is posting 2) when you break up, you'll have to have a custody fight over the avatar and whoever gets it will be doomed to post with the name of his/her ex attached to every post. Thank you for your attention to this important matter. Quote
Blake Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 Would people like Peter Puget get mad if there was a "DruandTrask" for those who choose to have "Life Partners"? Can they adopt? it's all too confusing Quote

arlen Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 Some of us middle aged men are bored enough to pretend to be two people on cc.com Quote

So what? Just means more work, and more $, for the slimeball segment of society. Quote

snoboy Posted February 13, 2004 Posted February 13, 2004 I've heard there is a snogurl out there somwhere. Quote
lummox Posted February 13, 2004 Posted February 13, 2004 the compound name is similar to the androgynous ones to signify confused sexual preference. so a 'benandjennifer' is much the same as a 'pat' or 'terry' or 'dru'. Quote
RobBob Posted February 13, 2004 Posted February 13, 2004 whereas lummox suggests something neutered & bovine Quote
lummox Posted February 13, 2004 Posted February 13, 2004 whereas lummox suggests something neutered & bovine the pc term is 'gelded'. kina like 'married'. Quote
Bug Posted February 13, 2004 Posted February 13, 2004 What about Rob_Bob? Robbie and Bobbie? Rob and Bobbie? Rob and Bob? etc. And what if it's Rob and Bobbie and it isn't a couple? Now who's confused? Quote
