jlag
I could easily be talked into some routes if your interested. Could be cold and rainy but it's only 20 minutes from my house. What are you interested in climbing? I'm off the couch right now.

EWolfe
I actually did a fair bit of aiding at Smith in the winterwhen I lived in Bend, and it is a great time of year for that. Just dress warm. There are some great lines!
layton
Well.... Â ....it was awesome! Sat was beautiful. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Only a handful of climbers there and only one at the grasslands that night! Sun was in the fog and freeezin, esp on Wherever I may Roam (ice and snow..brrr). Still, wasn't cold enough to complain, or worse yet, not climb. Props to Skyclimn, who now ranks as one of my favorite climbing partners. I sent him up Moonshine dihedral, and it wasn't until after a BIG WHIPPER, that I learned it was his 1st TRAD LEAD!!!! Â for Winter and his secret non-cascadeclimber girlfriend for driving my ass there and back while I ate horsecock in the backseat.
texplorer
Cuddos gentlemen (and lady) for heading out. Smith is climbable this time of year and can be fun if you don't mind freezing hands too much. I'll be heading down most likely sometime next month. Winter
Sticky feet and frozen fingers. Â Missed the Gorge but had to get outta town for my sanity. Perhaps in 2008 I'll get some. The Buckets Bunny linkup was epic.
