scot'teryx Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 no one lookes at it anyway adamson and cavey called the demise of climbing in the PNW websites are aid I think I'm just going to have the domain name forward to www.homestarrunner.com Quote
Ursa_Eagle Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 for the record, I liked the site... quite a bit of useful info Quote
Peter_Puget Posted October 21, 2003 Author Posted October 21, 2003 I liked it too! I bet traffic goes up in winter! Quote
vegetablebelay Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 A couple of months ago, a guy in my office who is a newbie hiker/scrambler told me I ought to check out this great site on the web - nwog.org Quote
scot'teryx Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 It's all AID Okay, I'll re-post all Lake 22 reports Quote
mvs Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I don't understand how you can put so much effort into creating a site and then shut it down? I don't buy the line that a TR website with "newbie" reports is something to be scorned. Everybody is a "newbie" sometime, and would love to read about "granite mtn in winter" or stuff like that. Quote
scot'teryx Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I have been replaced mtn porn is available at www.sverdina.com, mtnphil.com, alpinedave.com, leang.com/kam, and briankenison.com Sverdina writes better reports anyway, gotta get him into videos though, then the site would be complete why take it down? because I can! Now I can charge a monthly fee for access to my TR's of Heather Lake and Hidden lakes on Pilchuck Quote
mvs Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 haha. Well, sure you can, but I don't think you've been replaced. I'll miss you, NWOG. BTW, I never click on videos on any sites (ok, MtnPhil lures me in sometimes!). You see, I'm often at work, and can't have some little window screaming about horsecock on rappel. Quote
scot'teryx Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 can't have some little window screaming about horsecock on rappel. But that's when you need to crank the volume!!! Quote
DPS Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 (edited) I hope it wasn't something I said. Despite my dig at him, NWOG was one of the most impeccibly designed sites I have run across. Maybe Scott should consider doing Web pages for a living. Now, I may just be smoking crack, but wasn't the old site named Northwest Outdoor Guide? The new logo that is on the Web page is Northwest Outdoor Guides with a caption of 'Coming Soon'. Maybe Scott is launching his career as a mountain guide? To_The_Top Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 Scotts site is good. Time for some feedback. Quote
Lambone Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 home star runner .com is a stupid waste of time. even stupider than cc.com...at least cc.com has mountain porn and horsecock... Quote
scot'teryx Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 i cant believe you just said that "beth has braces, she looks like a dude. All people are not on fire" Quote
mvs Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 I love when he "burninates" the peasants. How can your head be on fire and your face looks merely sorrowful? That Trogdor, what a ham! Quote
JoshK Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 why does nwog.org now say future home to "northwest mountain guides" Scott, are you actually planning on guiding people? Quote
scrambler Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 There is a spiritual battle brewing, mai bruthas. A battle for the hearts and minds of mai chillin. You cannot go forth, Not Without God. "I luv all my bruthas and sistas, but especially the sistas!" Quote
