The e-mail said, "The moderator of the mossandchoss group has denied your request for membership." At least I know it wasn't a computer glitch, it was the moderator. Evidently the moss and choss moderator must know of me personally or something. Probably just as well, now I can't spill my guts on all the secret and forgotten areas I know of. But hey, I may not know too much as I've only been climbing for 30 years. BTW, why can't people post "secret and forgotten climbing areas" here. Is there some rule against it? Sorry, I'm still sort of new here, just asking and glad I didn't get my ass kicked off of cc.com.....yet. Bet they let Wayne join. Wayne, if you're the mod at moss and choss, just so you know, I was only teasing you and kidding about your ex-wife. I've always enjoyed your company and just wanted you to know in a humorous way that she worked on turnig our attic into a master suite thing whilst you were battling K2. So my PM crack to you which you never responded too about the "time we spent in the bedrom together" was only so she could slap drywall mud and I could say "Fantastic Job Tiff". She really kicks ass as a worker, and really did a great job. Nice lady IMO. It was only light hearted jest, no need to take a wall hammer to me or anything severe like that. Quote

People came in and F*'d up all the pics, posted under a dozen assumed names, and generally took something that could have been pretty cool and ruined it. Also, if I know of an area that has had a ground up ethic for 50 years, I can at least pass that on to seriously interested parties. Been to French's? Been to Bulo? Those areas have been established for a long time, and in the last five years unmoderated bolting and over-use has all but ruined them. I'm not the ethics police, but I think you guys know the kind of encroachment I'm looking to avoid spreading. I know there are also conscientious people looking to do GFA's and "adventure" climbs, not another clip-up McRoute. Those are the people I was hoping to get in touch with. If that pisses you off, if you're sure that I'm a pussy, don't join. Quote
