iain Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 and how does it accomplish this? if it's tritium I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want a figure-8 of this stuff right next to me boys. Quote
COL._Von_Spanker Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 I like how the picture makes it look like the whole thing glows and right next to it, it says the ends and middle glow. Quote
cracked Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 I thought that's what we have headlamps for... Quote
gregm Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 why not just get a flourescent dyed rope and use a black light headlamp??????? a little more eh? Quote
gregm Posted March 15, 2003 Posted March 15, 2003 anyway, i'm somewhat skeptical that it would work well. i tried several glow in the dark strategies hoping we could play kayak polo out in the deeper water at night without using lights, including a glow in the dark volleyball that didn't work for shit. Dru Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 we used to use a glow in the dark frisbee and play in a school gymnasium with the lights out but every 15 minutes you had to go outside to recharge it or it stopped glowing, also to readjust your eyes cause your night vision turned on and you could see too well in the light from the exit signs. Yet outside I can see thirty feet with it? wid dat? Quote
Dru Posted March 17, 2003 Posted March 17, 2003 Putzl copy protected the Wikka so it wouldnt interfere with their spelunking headlamp sales. You neeed to download Headlamp DCSSS to remove the copy protection. Quote

I love the glow in the dark frisbee. We used to play indoors in a long hall way. We'd chuck it back and forth at each other as hard as we could like dodge ball. It would richochet off the walls and it was pretty hairy. If the whole rope was glow in the dark, it would make a cool timed exposure photo on a wall at night! Quote
