Now there's a tune that could hit the charts around here...

I always thought she said "soft sell"

Seems to me that the photographer went to a fade (around the 2:20 mark) right as the plane was approaching the Fuhrer/Kautz routes. I didn't see 'em, didjoo?

Those banker's boxes at jkeller's link look pretty good, too. Hey Ralph, what prompted the move from Spookaloo?
-
Ralph, What foraker said. We did that on our move outta Crackima and they are great. REALLLLLY sturdy. You'll have to tell them to save them for you, and then show up to get them when you say you will, or they will crush them down, because they tend to take up a lot of volume and pile up quickly. Punctuality is the key.

That's cool. My parents can boast a similar story, but it involved a fishing boat my dad had in Juneau, where my mom was an RN. According to my mom, they bickered over small items of fact for the whole trip (they were with another couple: a co-worker of my dad's was dating my mom's roomie) and she vowed never to see him again after that. My dad called her up for another date, (why) my mom accepted (she couldn't remember), they hit it off swimmingly, and were married a few months later. They celebrated 50 years together last October.

DEFINITELY TMI!! And as we say in sailboat races regarding some other boat's foibles... "You can point, and you can laugh. But you can't point AND laugh."

Way to go, Joe! Nicely done.

Thanks again, all you folks responding here and in the Climber's Board forum. I appreciate your knowledge and willingness to share it with a gumby dad who will shortly join the masses at some of these locations.

WOW! Thanks again, all you folks. My cup runneth over with waterfall beta.
-
WOW guys! Thanks for all the tips! It's looking like I should prolly take a day off mid-week or let the wife take him down the gorge to get the best value out of this trip. foraker: Thanks for the database tip. Good search engine and great driving directions on that site.

Thanks for the beta, Camillo and OMR. Mebbe the wife will take him to Eagle Creek mid-week. We'll see how it goes.

OK, so my soon-to-be 3-year-old has taken up a fascination with waterfalls. We were thinking about taking him down to the Gorge this wqeekend to see some, but wanted to stay away from the Mecca that is Multnomah. Someone posted here a short time ago about a daytrip they took to a falls that you could walk behind on a trail. Couldn't dredge it up with a search, so if you remember that post or know the place, Nicholas's dad would appreciate hearing from you. cross-posted to Oregon Cascades

Stick to the "bird" threads, Brad... Hey, did you notice that "steaksauce" doesn't convert to "Nodder" anymore?
-
Was wondering when you'd get around to this thread...

Your research is flawed. Skunks are no longer considered to be mustelids, but instead have their own family, Mephitidae. Clickety click

Sounds a lot like most of my old GFs...

Ditto. I always like to hear when lost souls are returned to the survivors. Kind of helps wrap things up for them.
-
Did you type in "steaksauce" or "Nodder"? Heyyyyyyy, "steaksauce" isn't being converted anymore... what gives?

Regarding time/date stamp: Is PP in a wormhole, or has he proved Einstein's theories and is just messin' with us...?

...and resize them...

Assless Chaps, So is that how your pants got to be that way...?
