  1. I'll pay for gas and beer if you're willing to pick up 2 souls and 2 bikes in North Bend Saturday (27th) morning and drop us off at the Columbia. Thanks! Mark
  2. Sweet! Yellow, BD (I think), ~110mm x ~170cm, tip tongue, tail hook. It's my buddy's; I'll pm you w/ his name and number. Thanks!
  3. Shee-at, welcome back to earth boys. Masks, capes, and speedos?
  4. F'n classic, thank you for the reminder Ivan.
  5. I guess a car is gear... Where would you take a Honda Element to get a clutch job in Seattle? Thanks! Mark
  6. Found this again under a bunch of random gear. Another crazy price reduction, 100 clams.
  7. Just found this in the gear pile again. Note the amazing price reduction, $60
  8. I think the C-B finish is the connection to the Serp, not the goulotte. Jens may know more precisely I think.
  9. Yep, there ain't much better climbing in the Cascades than Dragontail north side in April! When we got to the amphitheatre below the Fin, it was storming pretty good and spindrift was pouring down the normal C-B finish and down that goulotte right of the Fin. We therefore opted for the somewhat calmer left-side finish. That goulotte looked in though.
  10. 'Bout time someone got the second ascent; and what style! I've been talking (but not walking) about getting on that in winter for years. Nice!
  11. Hot damn, thanks guys. Howdy Wayne! I'm heading over there for a quick trip Feb 19-22 w/ Scott G; you going to be around then? It'd be cool to tie in again lad.
  12. Any recommendations? Thanks!
  13. (Hmmm, given the context here you might want to rephrase that...) In any case: Nice lookin' frickin' adventure, prose, and pics!
  14. If you head up the drainage instead of the trail, yes, as of Sunday. There may be a few bare spots in a few days but it's definitely worth bringing the skis!

  17. Another in the collection must go... Long, like new condition, 3 lbs for tent, fly, poles, and 4 stakes. Interweb info: http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___23889 http://www.amazon.com/Eureka-Spitfire-1-Blue/dp/B00HV7V6Y4
  18. Pairing down the tent collection... Long (~92" inside) 2-person tent with near vertical side walls gives lots of room. 2 doors, 2 vestibules, good in a breeze, new condition. 5 lbs 3 oz for tent, fly, all poles, & 2 stakes for the fly. All sorts of groovy info: http://www.amazon.com/MSR-05139-Hoop-Tent/dp/B00453OTRS http://www.backpackgeartest.org/reviews/Shelters/Tents/MSR%20Hoop%20tent/Owner%20Review%20by%20Ray%20Estrella/
  19. Rumor confirmed. Damn.
  20. Noooooobody wants that!
  21. Yep, it was a bit wet and there was no ice this time, but when you gotta get out you gotta get out. That south chimney's a nice diversion when it's full-on shit weather and avi death conditions in the real mountains.
  22. Thanks for the note. And how did the routes on Dragontail look?
  23. I'd take the Yates aiders. Where are you located? I'm in Renton. Mark
  24. Howdy, I've got this puppy for sale: http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1114478/BD_Betalight_shelter_unused_se#Post1114478 It fits 2 folks plus gear easily.
