after reading the 2nd .pdf mionx linked it appears none of the objecters actually read the bill. all concerned items are listed in there. it say no new roads in current roadless areas, it sets limits on the the size of trees to be removed. please people why dont you read your info before crying.

carl you will have to read my other posts as well on this topic. i state that there will be cutting of profit trees. also alot of scrap trees are slated to become chips, which can used for lotsa stuff!

this is the general idea behind selective cutting. apprently most the crybabys actually know much about commerical logging outside of the apprent clear cuts(which i dont like either). why dont you stop crying for a few minute, use your brains and read up on the selective cutting. you will actually see that both sides support it for the most part. and past 100 years of sierra club policy has created the current situation with their supress to save the beautiful forests policies.

the icicle gorge trail might be good depending on how close you can get to the trailhead same would go for the 4th of july crk trail tho you could access the icicle ridge trail all year...lotsa ele gain early on...but once on top..it is real nice!
