Of which Azerbaijan, Norway, Russia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, the United States, Oman Yemen, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Brazil, Ecuador, East Timor, Australia, Brunei and Kazakhstan are not members. Please compare and contrast proven reserves and wellhead extraction cost in those countries to those in the Middle East Or simply note OPEC has 2/3 of the world proven reserves and provides 50% of it's oil exports. That's pricing power. Except apparently if you live in Couloir fantasy land. Sure there are market forces at work. To describe the oil industry landscape as a free market is farcical.

OPEC? Oh, that's right this is the energy business where nobody has ever acted anticompetitively and manipulated the market.

  13. He's lucky he's not a regular here
  14. That was in the big sport/bouldering spread wasn't it? Meshes well with this Tommy Caldwell quote "It was a fun trip, but I do not know if alpine climbing is going to become common for me; it seems a bit dangerous." link

  17. I give your post a 3
  18. This site is more up your alley
  19. ah, PP, yet again you so wonderfully encapsulate some turd of conventional wisdom in a veneer of condscension and refuse to support your argument with anything save hyperbole. tra la la
  20. So you curve the data for "regular" (what makes someone regular is undefined) cc.com posters, but not for "regular" (highly active) mounties. whether those rates are higher or lower than "active" climbers overall is, of course, of no relevance. as always, nicely biasing your stats PP. Don't quit your sprayjob!
  21. Perhaps the largest gathering of climbers who can type with 1 hand?
  22. oh goody, it's another perception post. I knew you were a closet lefty pp. Cc.com has 10,000+ members. Perhaps you'd care to share your source for the statistics? Or why you chose to ignore the mountaineers climbing classes required to go on mounties classes? Or XYZ factors that change your data?
  23. Comeone harry, of course there's relevance in comparing people who desire a structured methodical climbing community that requires $ and time to a ragtag website that requires 15 seconds to register.
